ConsentChecker.eu is a service by Forward Slash (CoC 09181354), based in the Netherlands. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and what your rights are.

What data do we collect?

  • Scanned URL — the website URL you enter for scanning. We store this to show you scan results and as a basis for monitoring.
  • Email address — only if you sign up for monitoring or purchase a report. We use this to deliver the report and for optional re-scans.
  • Payment data — processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card details; Stripe processes these under their own privacy policy.
  • Technical log data — IP address and browser type are stored in standard server logs (Google Cloud Run). Retention: maximum 30 days.

Why do we use your data?

  • Performing the requested scan and displaying results
  • Delivering the report
  • Sending the report by email (via Resend)
  • Monthly re-scan if you signed up for monitoring
  • Improving the service (anonymised statistics)

Retention periods

  • Free scan: 7 days
  • Paid report: 30 days
  • Monitoring email addresses: until unsubscription
  • Server logs: maximum 30 days

Third parties

We share your data with the following processors, solely for the purpose of delivering the service:

  • Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Firestore) — hosting and storage; data centres in the EU (europe-west4, Netherlands)
  • Stripe — payment processing; own data processing agreement and privacy policy
  • Resend — email delivery; own data processing agreement
  • Anthropic — AI analysis of scan results; no personal data is sent to the AI (only technical scan data)

We never sell your data to third parties.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, and the right to object to processing. Contact us at info@consentchecker.eu. We respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch Data Protection Authority).

Cookies

ConsentChecker.eu does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Only functional cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the service (session) are used. No consent is required for these.

Security

All communication takes place over HTTPS. Data is stored in the European Union. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure your data.
