Axeptio vs Enzuzo
Which cookie consent tool fits your site best?
The battle between Axeptio and Enzuzo is interesting because both parties strongly focus on SaaS businesses and e-commerce platforms like Shopify. While traditional banners are often rigid and corporate, both tools attempt to better address the needs of modern brands.
Where they are identical
Both Axeptio and Enzuzo automatically scan your website (or webshop) to map and categorize tracking cookies. They block scripts until consent is given and have solid integrations with Google Consent Mode v2 and e-commerce backends. Furthermore, both operate via an easy-to-install JavaScript code.
Where the difference lies
Depth in Privacy. While Axeptio stops at visually appealing cookie consent requests, Enzuzo goes much further. Enzuzo offers (even in affordable plans) built-in workflows for managing customer privacy requests (DSAR management). Does a customer want to view or delete their data? Enzuzo automates this process via a portal. Additionally, Enzuzo provides automatic generators for privacy policies. Axeptio lacks these extensive features.
Data Location. Axeptio is a French company that hosts consent data strictly within the EU. Enzuzo is a Canadian company. Although Canada is deemed "adequate" by the European Union for data processing, some companies prefer that data does not leave the EU.
Pricing Model. Enzuzo uses a tiered model (starting at $9 per month) based on the number of domains and the limits for DSAR requests. Axeptio is considerably more expensive (starting at $30 per month) and is purely focused on the traffic volumes (pageviews) of your website.

Our recommendation
For e-commerce brands and SaaS companies, we recommend Enzuzo. The addition of automatic policy generators and a professional portal for data requests (DSARs) makes it a much more complete privacy solution at a more attractive rate.
Choose Axeptio if you are already equipped with strong legal documents and are solely looking for the highest converting, visually most appealing cookie banner to maintain a high brand experience.
Setting up a banner does not equal compliance. Most violations occur post-installation because scripts still load too early via Google Tag Manager. Always run a free scan after configuration to verify it actually works.
